Our company Shri Kanaka Durga Fabrics & Kanka Lakshmi Fabrics is popularly known as KDF which has been promoted and run by hereditary weaver's family for 40 years.

We are in the textile industry since 1985. KDF has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of fabric manufacturing. In the changing industrial era, it's important to keep up with the latest advancements. KDF does it in a perfect manner.

Dyeing

Our production backbone features a comprehensive yarn dyeing unit located in Erode, TN, boasting a robust processing capacity of 6,000 kgs per day. We don't just dye yarn; we do it responsibly. Our processes fully align with international benchmarks for environment and ethics:

Weaving

Our advanced weaving facility combines high-speed automation with technical versatility, ensuring zero-defect production for both high-volume runs and specialized yarn-dyed structures.

  • State-of-the-Art Fleet: Powered by 12 in-house Picanol Dobby Airjets, 70+ high-speed Airjet looms, and automated Somet Rapier looms dedicated to complex yarn-dyed designs.
  • High-Volume Output: An average manufacturing capacity of 10 Lakh meters per month, providing the scalability and agility our global buyers demand.
  • Specialization: Optimized for superior fabric tension, flawless design registration, and pristine finish across all dobby, striped, and structured fabrics.

Processing

We understand that optimal softness and meticulous shrinkage control are the hallmarks of a premium fabric. To guarantee these standards, we collaborate exclusively with fully certified processing facilities.

  • Advanced Capabilities: Offering a complete suite of finishes from essential water washing to premium Zero-Zero (0-0) finishing and specialized Tumble Washing.
  • Specialized Fabric Care: Engineered to safely process high-performance and delicate qualities, including Hi-Twist and Lycra / Spandex blends, preserving their elasticity and texture.
  • Massive Scalability: A combined throughput capacity of up to 40,000 meters per day to smoothly accommodate high-volume apparel programs.

Fabric Checking & Packing

Fabrics are inspected in 2 stages: Loom stage and after finishing stage. Our checker and supervisor has the vast knowledge in fabrics inspection.

All fabrics are inspected in 4 points system. Fabrics are packed securely in Roll and Than form based on specific shipment configurations.

Circular Technology (100% Recycled)

We are proud to be one of the leading manufacturers utilizing recycled materials such as PET plastic bottles, which we convert into high-quality recycled polyester. Additionally, we repurpose used fabrics into recycled cotton, contributing to a more sustainable textile industry.

Our facility is GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified, underscoring our commitment to environmental responsibility. We actively invest in research and development to enhance fabric recycling technologies.
